From the Potter Park Zoo to the campus Michigan State University, the Lansing area has so many different types of summer camps and programs for all different ages! If you don’t have plans for the kids this summer, check out the ones we’ve highlighted below!


Lansing Area Summer Programs

YMCA of Lansing

The YMCA of Lansing is offering a variety of summer camps this year. From Day Camps to overnight/resident camps, children of all ages (including adults!) will have a blast at their summer programs. To learn more about the YMCA of Lansing’s camps click here.

Fenner Nature Center

Head outdoors with the camps at Fenner Nature Center! There are two types of camps available for participation: the Half-day preschool camps for children ages 4-5 and the Full day camps for children who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade. Kids Camp

The East Lansing Department of Parks, Recreation & Arts is hosting this summer’s Kids Camp. The camp runs from June 15 to August 31 with each week having a theme and a number of activities, including swimming, field trips, walks to MSU/East Lansing Public Library, art and crafts and outdoor games/activities. It will be held at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center for children in Kindergarten to grade 6. Visit their website to view the Kids Camp brochure.

Zookambi

Potter Park Zoo will be holding Zookambi- a kids camp going on throughout the summer. Potter Park is offering both morning and afternoon sessions each week of Zookambi for kids entering grades 1-7, and two weeks of specially designed programs for students entering grades 8-12. Kidz Club Summer Day Camps

Join the University Club of MSU at their Kidz Club Summer Day Camps! All throughout the summer they will be hosting special events, activities, golf programs, tennis programs, and summer U-Club camps for all ages! Click here to browse through their Summer Fun Guide.

LLC Summer Youth Programs

Want to take a class in technology, science, math, or engineering? Do you want to attend a Sports Camp? Then look no further than Lancing Community College and their GATE and A+ Summer Youth Programs. Summer Sessions begin June 20th and go until August 12th. For a list of summer classes click here.
