As we continue to watch and respond to the developing situation regarding the COVID-19, the health and safety of our employees and clients remains our biggest concern. Dobson Healthcare Services is considered essential business and as part of the critical infrastructure, we will continue to provide care to our clients. We are taking a proactive approach to limit our social interactions in our offices and are taking the following actions:
Beginning Monday, March 30, 2020:
- Our offices will be closed to walk-in traffic.
- Clients and Employees with specific needs may make appointments to meet with Dobson Healthcare Staff. Please call 866-866-8984 to schedule your meeting.
- Dobson Healthcare Administrative staff will be following guidelines set by Governor Whitmer’s Office and working various time periods within the office to limit our interaction with each other.
- Our staff will continue to be available to you 24/7 via 866-866-8984.
Please diligently follow the guidelines of washing your hands, using hand sanitizer and social distancing. Dobson Healthcare is a strong family, and working together we can all get through this and be stronger than ever.

As you probably know, earlier today, Governor Whitmer issued a Stay Home, Stay Safe Order through April 13th to all non-essential businesses at midnight tonight. Dobson Healthcare Services is considered essential business and as part of the critical infrastructure, we will remain open and continue to provide care to our home-bound clients.
Michiganders have been preparing for COVID-19 for weeks, and all individuals should continue to take the following basic personal-hygiene measures to prevent the spread of the virus:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water or use hand sanitizer;
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands;
- Cover your moth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing;
- Avoid handshakes;
- Avoid contact with sick people who are sick; and
- Stay home when you are sick.

What is Dobson Healthcare doing to keep patients, caregivers, and the community safe?
Screening. We are screening our employees and patients for possible exposure to COVID-19.
Education. All staff have been educated and provided materials to help them minimize the chances of their becoming infected with COVID-19 and transmitting infection to those they care for.
Communication. Dobson Healthcare has activated our Emergency Response System to provide the most up-to-date information to our staff and clients.
Collaboration. We are working closely with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, to make sure our procedures and guidelines reflect the most current medical information.

We are taking the following proactive steps effective today, March 18th, 2020:
Dobson Healthcare Offices will be closed to all walk-in traffic.
The lobby of Dobson Healthcare will be the only space that outside staff, visitors or visiting customers/vendors may enter. Only 1 of which will be allowed at a time.
We are taking all precautions and sanitizing after each visitor to our lobby space; please allow for the Dobson Administrative Team Member to do so before entering after the previous visitor leaves.
Pre-scheduled interviews will still be taking place and those with specific needs may make an appointment if needed. Call our office at 866-866-8984 to do so.
